Gringo del Sol (also known as Perlair) draws inspiration from the sounds of jazz, global groove, and disco.vHe is known for his ability to make crowds dance by blending styles with ease. A musician and producer, he fuses the warmth of the blue note with electronics.
Working on his debut album, he also curates the music program at Les Caves du Cep in Vevey.
Gringo del Sol also played a key role in the creation of the Les Disques du bord de l'eau label and its radio station, based in Sierre, the birthplace of the Weekend au bord de l'eau festival. He created the Bal du Ruisseau, one-off events that combine the elegance of the Bal with the vibrant atmosphere of daytime clubbing.
