Meral Polat infuses the Kurdish soul with the raw energy of blues and unfiltered emotion. Accompanied by three virtuosic musicians, she brings hypnotic soundscapes to life in a deeply moving performance. Her debut album Ez Kî Me is a contemporary interpretation of Anatolian music, at times a battle cry, at others a delicate call for identity and belonging.
Her debut album earned a nomination for the Songlines Music Award and UPBEAT best new talent award 2024.
With their new show they present a brand-new quartet program, creating a sonic world that blends different eras andcultures while staying true to their contemporary sound.
The new program gives voice to women living on their own terms, a powerful, epic exploration of freedom, humanity and women's strength. Musically, it adds more rhythm, groove,rock ‘n’ roll, and power, sharing stories of resistance, struggle, and solidarity in the fight for women’s rights.
CHAMOS
Known for their genre-spanning DJ sets that seamlessly blend West Asian influences, bass, and percussion, CHAMOS truly embody their name—meaning "friends"—as they bring together diverse sounds and audiences. With members from Kurdish and Dutch backgrounds, their music effortlessly fuses traditional and electronic elements. Building on the success of their club edits series, which has garnered attention from DJs and artists alike, the duo has cultivated an organic and ever-growing fanbase.
